I want your Fux Jewels to live a long and happy life, so it's important that you do your best to take good care of them.
Don't let your jewellery come in contact with water, cosmetics, perfumes, cleaning chemicals or any other liquids. Your jewellery can oxidise or change in colour.
Wipe your jewellery with a soft cloth after wearing.
Some of the materials will naturally change colour over time, but that is part of dealing with natural materials like brass or wood.
Wooden jewellery need oil or it could crack from being too dried out. Use some olive oil and put it on a small piece of soft cloth.
Brass is a metal alloy made from a combination of zinc and copper. It has a tendency to tarnish with age. Brass can be cleaned with a tooth paste and microfiber cloth. You can also use some fresh lemon juice, wipe off the juice with a wet cloth.
Sterling silver can be cleaned with a silver polishing cloth.
Store your jewellery seperate from other jewellery in a box or pouch. Don't store it in the bathroom or in direct sunlight.
Don't wear your jewellery when
- doing sport, swimming
PLUGS, TUNNEL, EAR WEIGHTS & HANGER
They are intended to be worn in piercings that have already been stretched to the appropriate size and properly healed.
Before inserting your new jewellery, make sure your hands and piercing are cleaned.
Even though many of the Dangle Plugs, Ear Weights etc. you can buy are very attractive they simply are not designed for long term wear as there is a danger that the weight can tear your delicate ear tissue.
